Personal Training
What is personal training?
Personal training is a tailored exercise programme which helps you achieve your fitness goals. It is delivered on a 1:1 basis by a qualified trainer who will create and help you safely execute a variety of exercises whilst motivating you to keep going.
Who is it suitable for?
It is suitable for anyone who has not been advised against exercising by a doctor. Pre and post-partum considerations can be made for anyone looking to exercise safely both during and after pregnancy. It is also suitable for anyone getting back to exercise after an injury.
If you are pregnant or have a diagnosed medical condition, the personal trainer will go through a medical screening prior to training you in order to make sure it is medically safe and appropriate to exercise. It is important to inform the personal trainer of any diagnosed conditions or ongoing investigations. Where appropriate you may be asked for a doctor’s letter to confirm you are medically fit to exercise.
How does it work?
The personal trainer will devise and deliver exercise sessions based around your fitness goals. A combination of machine-based equipment, free weights and other gym equipment may be used as part of the programme. Sessions can be delivered anywhere between a few times a week to a few times a month. Results may vary depending on the frequency of training.
